Merry Christmas to whomever is reading this. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for reading my little personal blog. A friend asked me the other day why I blog, the answer came quickly - because I absolutely love it. This is something I need to keep in mind when I'm beating myself up about not having a post up on time, I don't do it for any other purpose than for the love of it and to document and record the goings on of my life. So thank you, for joining me on my journey. I'd love to know who you are, so that I can personally wish you a very Merry Christmas, but I suppose that's quite impossible really!
I hope your Christmas is full of love, happiness, good food and laughter. I hope you have all that you could ever wish for, and while I am desperate to start banging on about 2017 and what I hope the New Year holds, I hope that just for today, we can live in the moment, enjoy a day with those we love and remember those that are no longer with us.
Christmas for me is the most special time of year, but it is also by far, the most emotional. So if you're like me, and tend to get teary at the smallest of things, remember to take a deep breath every now and then. It's okay if you need a moment or two alone. It's also absolutely 100% okay if you have to undo your belt, the top button and possibly even the next button on your jeans after Christmas lunch today. Personally, I'm going to be sporting leggings all day to allow for plenty of undisturbed, comfortable, indulgence when it comes to food.
So, just for today, look up, take stock of all that you have and give as much love as you possibly can. Afterall, if you can't give all of your love at Christmas, when can you?
