Life is too short to sit back and do nothing. I've set myself a mission this Easter holiday, I hope it will continue long after the holidays have ended. My mission is to make memories, to go on adventures, to discover new places and make new friends.
Today Adam and I decided to go on a little trek from Sitges to Vilanova. We hopped on the train to Sitges and fueled ourselves up at my favourite café - Mont Roig. I tried their AMAZING Açai Delight smoothie, which I'd like to point out is true to it's name in being an absolute delight.
Adam is my gym buddy/ drinking buddy/ let's be bloggers and vloggers buddy/ all round amazing friend, meaning that our 3 hour walk took nearly double the time because we stopped to take photos, set shots up for vlog footage and quite frankly messed around a lot. I had a whale of a time and spent most of my day giggling, breathing in the sea air, appreciating the beautiful place we are so lucky to call home and savouring the very beginning of my favourite season -Spring.
I don't know whether it's having some well needed time off work, the weather, the new season or just a mixture of everything but today, for the first time in weeks, I've felt truly excited about the future. That kind of bubbling excitement that starts at the pit of your tummy working it's way up to your chest making you want to explode with excitement...you know? Or maybe that's just me being my little random self.
I usually embrace any kind of change with arms wide open, I love change, I adore new beginnings and delight in mixing things up a little but recently I've felt a little unsettled at the prospect of change. Today something just clicked and I have that wonderful sensation that great things are on the horizon.
After a morning of ambling over rocks, stumbling along cliff tops and climbing up dusty hills we headed to the gym, I could say that we went for a swim but I'd be lying. We immersed ourselves into the warm, sparkly water of the Jacuzzi allowing the water and bubbles to do their magic on our tired muscles. It was bliss.
Spring I am so grateful that you've arrived, I am grateful that I spent today with Adam celebrating this gorgeous season and I am over the moon that I got my over excited mojo back.
