It's time for a change

It's Sunday again, and another weekly round up is upon us. This week saw huge thunderstorms hit Barcelona, I actually flew home through one which was just a little bit scary! The thunderstorms have brought a new season upon us; Autumn - with it's nippy temperatures, crisp leaves and oh so very beautiful sunsets. The light has changed, the days somehow seem to have suddenly gotten shorter rather than the gradual lengthening of days in the run up to Summer. Maybe this has more to do with my not noticing rather than an immediate trimming of our days. sunset

At the risk of sounding like Ronan Keeting this week has been such an emotional roller coaster. Celebrating my Nan's life was incredibly upsetting yet heart warming to see just how many people loved and cared for her.

Getting back to normal has been difficult however with the abrupt change in season that arrived on Friday it almost feels like the end of an era and the beginning of a new journey - with new adventures to be had.

I have woken up this morning, after nights of interrupted restless sleeps to a clearing of the mist that fogged my mind. I am ready to dive back into my projects, build an exciting future for myself and be all that I hope I can be.

In the words of Socrates "The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new."

I think it's time to pop on the kettle, and come up with a wonderfully exciting plan for the future. Who's with me?

Love,
